The Kansas City Chiefs have re-signed long snapper James Winchester to a one-year, fully guaranteed contract worth $1.75 million. Winchester, 36, initially joined the Chiefs in 2015 and became the highest-paid long snapper in 2021. He played 17 games last season, contributing with three tackles on special teams. Winchester’s previous contract with the Chiefs was signed just under a year ago.
