The Houston Texans have restructured DB Jalen Pitre’s contract, converting most of his $9 million guaranteed base salary into a signing bonus to reduce his cap hit. The team added two void years to his deal, lowering his $11.9 million cap hit for 2026. Pitre, a former consensus first-team All-American, was drafted 37th overall in 2022 and signed a three-year, $39 million extension last offseason. In 2025, he recorded 74 tackles, four interceptions, and 12 pass defenses over 14 games.
