Tom Seaver’s 1969 World Series Ring Sells for Over $850,000

The 1969 World Series ring of Mets legend Tom Seaver sold for $854,122 at a recent Heritage Auctions event. Along with the ring, nearly 200 items from Seaver’s collection, including his 1992 Baseball Hall of Fame induction plaque and 1973 National League championship ring, were auctioned. Seaver’s daughter, Anne, expressed the difficulty of parting with the ring, reflecting on her father’s significance to Mets fans after his passing in 2020. The auction’s highlight was a 1909 Honus Wagner baseball card, which fetched $3.59 million.
