Steve Kerr, the Golden State Warriors coach, mistakenly labeled Kristaps Porzingis’ diagnosis of postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) as “misinformation” during a radio appearance. After Porzingis missed his third consecutive game due to an illness, Kerr retracted his comments, admitting he was unqualified to discuss the medical issue and regretted making the statement. Porzingis, who has been limited to just 17 minutes in one game since joining the Warriors, was reported to be feeling better after returning to practice. Kerr has not confirmed Porzingis’ status for the upcoming game against the Clippers.
