According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Commanders TE Zach Ertz aims to play a 14th NFL season in 2026, despite recovering from a torn ACL. Expected to be cleared around Week 1, Ertz will be a free agent in March. The 35-year-old, originally drafted by the Eagles in 2013, had a productive 2025 season with 50 receptions for 504 yards and four touchdowns for Washington. He re-signed with the Commanders in March 2025 on a one-year deal worth up to $9 million with incentives.
