Chris Sale Extends Contract with Braves
Former Cy Young-winning left-hander Chris Sale has agreed to a one-year, $27 million contract extension with the Atlanta Braves, which includes a $30 million club option for 2028. The 36-year-old, who previously expressed a desire to finish his career in Atlanta, had a strong 2023 season before injuries cut it short.
