San Francisco 49ers QB John Lynch announced the signing of long snapper Jon Weeks to a contract extension, as reported by Matt Barrows. Weeks, who was set to become an unrestricted free agent next month, has spent 15 years in the NFL, primarily with the Houston Texans, before joining the 49ers last year. In 2025, he played in all 17 games for the 49ers. This extension secures his position with the team going forward.
