49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne is poised to become an unrestricted free agent after his one-year contract with the team concludes. He expressed his desire to return to San Francisco in a YouTube video, stating, “I want to go back to San Fran, so that’s the plan, but it’s all got to make sense.” Bourne, who joined the 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2017, recorded 37 receptions for 551 yards in 2025. His previous stint included a three-year deal with the Patriots before re-signing with the 49ers in September 2025.
