Chase Blackburn, a former linebacker who won two Super Bowls with the New York Giants, has joined the Atlanta Falcons as their new assistant special teams coach after being dismissed from the Rams’ coaching staff following a disappointing 2025 season. Blackburn, 42, started his coaching career in 2016 and has previously worked with the Panthers and Titans. His notable playing career includes 372 tackles and an interception of Tom Brady in Super Bowl XLVI. He now aims to contribute to the Falcons under special teams coordinator Craig Aukerman.
