Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg will miss the final game before the All-Star break and the NBA’s Rising Stars game due to a left midfoot sprain, as confirmed by an MRI following an injury in a loss to Phoenix. The 19-year-old, the No. 1 overall draft pick, is averaging 20.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in 49 games. The Mavericks, currently on an eight-game losing streak, face the Los Angeles Lakers next. Further updates on Flagg’s condition will be provided as needed.
