According to ESPN’s Aaron Schatz, the Indianapolis Colts are projected to re-sign safety Nick Cross, who has had a strong performance in his two seasons as a full-time starter. In the 2025 season, Cross recorded 120 tackles and excelled in run support, earning a +72.0 run defense grade. Despite being a top free agent safety, his contract might exceed the Colts’ budget due to other roster priorities. Spotrac estimates his next deal could be a 4-year, $24.3 million contract.
