One of the key offseason topics for the New York Mets is pitcher Kodai Senga, who was reportedly “extremely available” for trade but expressed a desire to stay with the team. Mets President of Baseball Operations David Stearns indicated that Senga is expected to be part of the rotation in 2026. After a strong 2023 season, Senga struggled in 2025 due to injuries but is now reported to be fully healthy. If he maintains his health, he could complement newly acquired ace Freddy Peralta in the rotation.
