SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Warriors star Jimmy Butler injured his right knee during a 135-112 victory against the Miami Heat, scoring 17 points before the injury occurred in the third quarter. Following a collision, Butler was unable to put weight on his knee and had to be assisted off the court. Andrew Wiggins contributed 18 points for Miami, while Stephen Curry and Brandin Podziemski led Golden State with 19 and 24 points, respectively. Both teams are slated for games on Tuesday night, with Butler’s status uncertain.
