The Gamecocks improved to 19-1, dominating the second quarter 22-5 after leading 22-14 at the end of the first. Tessa Johnson added 17 points while Ta’Niya Latson contributed 15 points and six steals. Khila Morris led Coppin State with 20 points, and South Carolina will face Oklahoma next, while Coppin State hosts Howard.
