In a flurry of signings, Kyle Tucker joined the Dodgers for a record four-year, $240 million deal, while Bo Bichette signed with the Mets for three years and $126 million, leaving the Phillies without their targeted players. Despite offering Bichette a lucrative seven-year, $200 million contract, the Phillies lost out due to their lack of opt-out flexibility. They did, however, re-sign J.T. Realmuto for three years and $45 million and remain open to further roster moves, possibly targeting players like Cody Bellinger or Eugenio Suárez. With the offseason still active, the Phillies aim to enhance their lineup amidst increased competition in the National League.
