The Commanders have hired former NFL quarterback Danny Etling as their assistant quarterbacks coach, marking his first coaching role. Etling, 31, was a seventh-round pick by the Patriots in 2019 but had a tumultuous career with multiple teams, including brief stints with the Falcons, Seahawks, Vikings, Broncos, and Packers. During his college career at Purdue and LSU, he amassed 7,076 passing yards with 43 touchdowns. This coaching position represents a new chapter in Etling’s professional journey.
