The Chicago Bears have placed second-round offensive tackle Ozzy Trapilo and linebacker T.J. Edwards on injured reserve due to a torn patellar tendon and a broken ankle, respectively, effectively ending their seasons. In related moves, they activated left tackle Braxton Jones from IR, signed linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin to the active roster, and added Nephi Sewell to the practice squad. Trapilo, drafted 56th overall in 2025, played 14 games and made six starts this season, while Edwards recorded 67 tackles and multiple defensive contributions in 10 games.
