The San Francisco 49ers have placed tight end George Kittle on injured reserve after he tore his Achilles during a recent game against the Eagles. Kittle had an impressive season, recording 57 receptions for 628 yards and seven touchdowns in 11 games. In his place, the team promoted tight end Brayden Willis from the practice squad; Willis, a 2023 seventh-round draft pick, has yet to catch a pass in his 23 regular-season appearances.
