The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have fired special teams coordinator Thomas McGaughey, as reported by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. McGaughey, 52, previously had a career as an NFL defensive back and held various coaching positions since 2014, including stints with the Jets, 49ers, and Panthers before joining the Buccaneers prior to the 2024 season. He served in the role for two years before his dismissal after the 2025 season.
