In the Eagles’ regular season finale, DeVonta Smith was given the chance to surpass 1,000 receiving yards, achieving this milestone on the last play of the first quarter. Smith expressed gratitude for head coach Nick Sirianni’s support, noting their positive relationship and the coach’s desire for players to reach personal goals. Smith finished the season with 77 catches for 1,008 yards, marking his third 1,000-yard season and becoming the fifth player in franchise history to achieve this. Additionally, he reached 5,019 career receiving yards in just 80 games, ranking him 10th in franchise history.
