The Nashville Predators have signed goalie Justus Annunen to a 2-year, $2.5 million contract starting in the 2026-27 season, after acquiring him in a 2024 trade with the Colorado Avalanche. Annunen, drafted 64th overall in 2018, is currently in the final year of a $1.68 million contract and has struggled this season with a 3-5-1 record. His performance has shown improvement, highlighted by a recent 4-2 win against the Golden Knights. This extension solidifies his role as backup to Juuse Saros, who is on an 8-year contract.
