In November, the Celtics’ Jaylen Brown collided with Clippers’ Derrick Jones Jr., leaving Jones with a Grade 2 MCL sprain that sidelined him for 17 games. Recently, Payton Pritchard collided with Jones’ same knee, resulting in another Grade 2 MCL sprain, and he will be re-evaluated in six weeks, likely returning after the All-Star Game. Despite the setback, Jones has been performing well, averaging 10.4 points per game with a 40% three-point shooting rate. He joins teammates Bradley Beal and Bogdan Bogdanovic on the injury list as the Clippers prepare to face the Warriors.
