The Kansas City Royals have extended manager Matt Quatraro’s contract for three years beginning in 2027, with a club option for 2030. The financial terms were not disclosed, and Quatraro was set to enter the final year of his previous contract. Since taking over in 2023, he has a record of 224-262 and led the Royals to their only playoff appearance in a decade during the 2024 ALDS. Last season, the team finished third in the AL Central with an 82-80 record.
