The Seattle Kraken have traded forward Mason Marchment to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for a 2027 second-round pick and a 2026 fourth-round selection. Blue Jackets GM Don Waddell praised Marchment as a physical competitor with offensive skills. Marchment, who had two 20-goal seasons with the Dallas Stars, struggled with just four goals in 29 games this season for Seattle. It’s uncertain if he will play in the upcoming game against the Anaheim Ducks.
