ESPN reports that the Chargers have signed tight end Tanner McLachlan to their practice squad, while releasing center Josh Kaltenberger. McLachlan, a sixth-round pick by the Bengals in the 2024 NFL Draft, had a four-year rookie contract but was waived due to an injury after training camp. He briefly joined the Chargers’ practice squad in December 2023 before being released. In 2024, he played in two games for the Bengals.
