According to Jordan Schultz, the New York Giants have claimed outside linebacker Caleb Murphy off waivers from the New England Patriots. Murphy, 25, initially signed with the Titans as an undrafted free agent and has had stints with the Chargers and Patriots, recording 14 total tackles in 2025. He was previously acquired by the Patriots after being waived by the Chargers. This move adds depth to the Giants’ linebacker corps.
