Brian Gutiérrez has officially transferred from Chicago Fire to Liga MX club Chivas for a multi-million dollar fee. The 22-year-old, who has been with the Fire since his youth and holds a contract until 2028, gained a Mexican passport, making him eligible to play for Mexico despite previously representing the U.S. Men’s national team. Gutiérrez recorded 21 goals and 25 assists in 164 appearances for Chicago, and Chivas aims to strengthen their squad after a quarter-final exit in the 2025 Apertura season.
