Raiders coach Pete Carroll faced criticism for choosing to kick a 46-yard field goal while trailing the Broncos by 10 points with five seconds left, resulting in a final score of 24-17. He defended the decision, stating he aimed to maximize the game’s final moments, but acknowledged that it might appear illogical to the public and emphasized he cannot let external opinions influence his coaching.
