WPL 2026 to Be Held in Two Cities, Official Dates Released

The Women’s Premier League, starting on January 7, 2026, at Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium and later moving to Baroda’s Kotambi Stadium, will see Mumbai Indians Women defending their title after winning two out of three editions. The tournament was rescheduled to avoid clashes with the ICC T20 World Cup and to accommodate an India vs. New Zealand ODI. The player auction on November 27, 2025, in New Delhi will see franchises targeting new talent following the recent ODI World Cup win, promising a competitive league with a mix of experienced and emerging players.
