The Los Angeles Lakers waived forward Arthur Kaluma, who was signed to a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contract and is expected to play for the South Bay Lakers in the G League. They filled his roster spot by signing guard Jarron Cumberland, also likely on an Exhibit 10 contract, who averaged 15.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in 38 G League games last season.
