Commanders Announce RB Austin Ekeler Suffered Achilles Injury



The Washington Commanders announced that running back Austin Ekeler suffered an Achilles injury during the game, ruling him out for the remainder of the match. Ekeler, who was carted off the field and unable to put weight on his right leg, had previously signed a two-year deal with the Commanders and had appeared in one game this season before the injury.
