The New York Knicks have officially hired Mike Brown as their new head coach, signing him to a four-year, $40 million contract, succeeding Tom Thibodeau, who was fired with three years and $30 million left on his deal. Brown’s previous contract with the Sacramento Kings, from which he was let go in the first year of a three-year extension, will be partially offset by the Knicks.
