The Dodgers have designated 38-year-old right-hander Luis Garcia for assignment, replacing him on the active roster with Noah Davis, who was recalled from Triple-A. Garcia’s performance this season has been subpar with a 5.27 ERA, while the Dodgers activated Edgardo Henriquez from the injured list, who may eventually join the big league club after recovering from a rough rehab stint.
