Through the first two months of the 2025 MLB season, the New York Yankees boasted the best offense in the American League, fueled by Aaron Judge’s exceptional performance and strong contributions from Paul Goldschmidt and Trent Grisham. However, since June began, the Yankees have struggled significantly, going scoreless for 29 consecutive innings and losing five straight games, despite still sitting in first place in the AL East. As concerns grow over the offensive decline, particularly from Goldschmidt and Grisham, the Yankees must consider augmenting their lineup at the trade deadline to support Judge and enhance their World Series aspirations.
