Bobby Portis’s Contract Situation
Bobby Portis expressed his desire to remain with the Milwaukee Bucks but emphasized he won’t accept a hometown discount if he re-signs this summer, stating he deserves fair compensation after taking team-friendly deals. Portis holds a $13.4 million player option for next season and is expected to opt out for a long-term deal while aiming for a salary increase. Last season, he averaged 13.9 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 49 games, but his games played were affected by a 25-game suspension for a banned substance.
