The Raiders announced the release of safety Jonathan Sutherland to accommodate the signing of free agent linebacker Germaine Pratt, who agreed to a one-year contract worth $4.25 million plus incentives. Sutherland, who missed the entire 2025 season due to an undisclosed injury, spent the 2023 season on the Seahawks’ practice squad after training camp stints with Seattle and the Giants, and has yet to play in an NFL regular-season game. Pratt was previously released by the Bengals, allowing them to save $5.85 million against their cap.
