Houston Astros third baseman Isaac Paredes injured his left hamstring while running to first base during the seventh inning of a 4-3 victory over the Chicago White Sox. After the game, Astros manager Joe Espada indicated that the team would have more information on Paredes’ condition the following day. Paredes, who was acquired from the Chicago Cubs in a trade involving Kyle Tucker, has been performing well in his first season with the Astros, leading the team with 15 home runs and achieving an .831 OPS over 67 games.
