RB Nick Chubb attracted interest from the Saints before ultimately signing a one-year, $2.5 million deal with the Texans, which can reach a maximum of $5 million. Chubb, who was drafted by the Browns in 2018, shared the backfield in Houston with Joe Mixon, Woody Marks, Dameon Pierce, and Dare Ogunbowale. In 2024, he played eight games for the Browns, recording 291 rushing yards and three touchdowns before testing free agency for the first time in 2025.
