Boston Celtics analyst Brian Scalabrine strongly believes there is “no way in hell” the team will trade Derrick White this offseason, despite his significant trade value and the Celtics’ need to shed salary to avoid luxury tax penalties. White, a key player in Boston’s recent championship run, has recorded career highs in points and rebounds while breaking the franchise record for 3-pointers in a season. Although trade discussions are ongoing, particularly with teams like the Golden State Warriors interested, Scalabrine asserts that White will remain with the Celtics long-term.
