The Abbotsford Canucks have advanced to the Calder Cup Finals after eliminating the Texas Stars with a 4-2 victory in game six, capturing the Robert W. Clarke as Western Conference Champions. Goaltender Arturs Silovs excelled with a .917 save percentage and a 2.28 GAA in the series, while Arshdeep Bains scored twice in game six, leading the team alongside Linus Karlsson with seven points in the Conference Finals. Despite the Stars’ strong playoff performance, including top scorers Cameron Hughes and Justin Hryckowian, they struggled against the Canucks’ solid defense, setting the stage for the finals against the Charlotte Checkers starting June 13.
