Jay Wright has declined interest in becoming the New York Knicks’ head coach, preferring to remain retired and work as a studio analyst for CBS. This decision has pleased former player Josh Hart, who expressed relief and gratitude, having enjoyed success under Wright at Villanova, including a national championship. The Knicks are now focusing on experienced NBA head coaches, reportedly looking to interview Jason Kidd, while they are aware of Wright’s preference to stay retired, supported by his relationship with Knicks president Leon Rose.
