Craig Kimbrel is returning to the Atlanta Braves bullpen after being called up from Triple-A Gwinnett, following the team’s recent loss where they squandered a 6-run lead against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Manager Brian Snitker expressed frustration with the team’s performance, emphasizing the need for better execution. Kimbrel, a former All-Star closer with a 2.00 ERA in 18 minor league appearances this season, previously had a successful tenure with Atlanta and aims to replicate his strong first half from the previous season.
