NBA All-Star Game Format Announcement
Adam Silver announced that the 2026 NBA All-Star Game will feature a matchup between the USA and the World, taking place during the Winter Olympics in February and airing on NBC after a period on TNT. While the specific format of the game is still to be determined, the NBA is considering elements from the NHL’s Four Nations tournament. Notably, the league has not seen an American-born MVP since James Harden in 2018, with recent winners including Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic, Joel Embiid, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
