The Jaguars announced the signing of wide receiver Trenton Irwin and defensive end Dawuane Smoot, while waiving wide receiver David White Jr. Smoot, a former third-round pick in 2017, recorded 133 tackles, 23.5 sacks, and ranks 10th in team history during his seven seasons with Jacksonville, later playing for the Bills in 2024. Irwin, who signed with Miami as an undrafted free agent in 2019, has played 41 games for Cincinnati, making 46 receptions for 601 yards and five touchdowns, including two postseason catches.
