Austin Ainge, the Boston Celtics’ assistant general manager, is set to join the Utah Jazz as their new president of basketball operations, according to reports from ESPN’s Shams Charania and Tim Bontemps. This move marks a reunion with his father, Danny Ainge, who is the CEO of basketball operations for the Jazz. Austin Ainge has been with the Celtics since 2009, starting as head coach of their G League affiliate and transitioning to the front office in 2011 as director of player personnel.
