Coach Kyle Shanahan expressed his excitement about the 49ers veterans’ commitment during the offseason program, noting a positive energy at the first organized team activities (OTAs) practice. After a disappointing 6-11 season, the team embraced the challenge of integrating 11 rookies and maintaining a strong locker room culture, with all players showing up without prompting. The veteran leaders, such as Fred Warner and George Kittle, actively engaged in helping newcomers adapt, indicating a promising start to the new season.
