David Adelman has been named the permanent head coach of the Denver Nuggets after serving as interim head coach, following his tenure as a longtime assistant to Michael Malone. Under his guidance, the Nuggets secured a first-round playoff victory against the LA Clippers but were subsequently eliminated in a seven-game series by the Oklahoma City Thunder. Adelman began his NBA career with the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2011, had a brief period with the Orlando Magic, and joined the Nuggets in 2017; the team is still in search of a general manager to replace Calvin Booth.
