A return to the NHL is imminent for winger Max Comtois, who has received “several NHL offers,” including from the Red Wings, after a successful season in Russia with Dynamo Moscow. The 26-year-old, a second-round pick by the Ducks in 2017, had a promising start but faced challenges with injuries and performance, leading to his departure from Anaheim in 2023. After excelling in the KHL with a 21-29–50 scoring line, Comtois expressed his desire to return to the NHL, looking to secure a bottom-six role with Detroit or another team.
