Two significant changes may soon impact the NFL, as team owners are slated to vote on a playoff reseeding proposal and a ban on the “tush push” at meetings in Minneapolis. The playoff reseeding, proposed by the Detroit Lions, aims to seed teams based on regular-season records, allowing a higher-seeded wild-card team to host a playoff game, which could alter postseason dynamics. Meanwhile, the tush push ban, introduced by the Packers, seeks to prohibit the practice of pushing a quarterback from behind on short-yardage plays, with both proposals needing 24 votes to pass.
