After being released by the Jacksonville Jaguars, free agent wide receiver Gabe Davis is scheduled to meet with the Giants, where general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll previously worked with him in Buffalo. Davis, who had a successful rookie season with 35 catches for 599 yards and seven touchdowns, had an impressive playoff performance with the Bills but struggled with injuries during his brief stint in Jacksonville, tallying only 20 receptions for 239 yards. The Giants are set to retain their top four receivers from last season while exploring roster improvements.
